The name is derived from the term, metamorphosis, which signifies change. Just over a year in its formation, the company was awarded a maintenance contract with PetroSA refinery. The scope of service included onshore and offshore operations for projects and maintenance.

The company has its owning welding procedures that enable the business to cover a wide array of exotic material that is common in our industry. These welding procedures include: Carbon steel, stainless Steel, Chrome, duplex, Nickel,Inconel and Tubesheets.

The company has been ISO 9001: 2008 certified since 2011 and thus allow us to render repeatable quality to our clients.

Molefe Pooe is a mechanical engineer and has enhanced his qualification through numerous short course studies in business, leadership, financial management and investments. Molefe is currently part owner and Managing member for Metamorphic Engineering.
Qualifications; BSc Engineering [Mechanical] – University of KZN Business management Programme – Unisa Master’s in Business Administration – Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University

Simphiewe Mlaba

Qualified Welding Inspector
Simphiewe obtained a welding inspection 3.0 and 3.1 through Abet Inspection. She further enhanced her qualification by obtaining both level 1 and 2 Welding inspection courses from the South African Institute of Welding (SAIW) with distinctions. She manages all quality aspects of the business. She has come up the ranks by qualifying first as a welder and then supervisor of fabrication teams. This experience has given her invaluable and practical insight into the welding process

Nancy Nxube

Fabrication Supervisor
Nancy is a qualified NQF level 4 boilermaker with experience in both industrial structures and piping. She has worked for various reputable companies including Four Daniel where she applied her trade. She is currently a fabrication supervisor overseeing fabrication and managing welders and boilermakers and has qualified as a doubled coded welder. Nancy also obtained training in management and supervision.

Cindy Phale

Fabrication Supervisor
Cindy is currently a fabrication supervisor overseeing all aspects of fabrication and managing welders and boilermakers. She is a qualified doubled coded welder and has also obtained various training in management and supervision.

Nosipho Manga

Senior Clerk
Nosipho is currently the senior clerk with general management over all administrative functions of the business. She has qualified in office management and MS office through Damelin.
